I kicked off Women's Ministry with a Support Program  that included making a bra purse.

This makes for a great program.  Keep the purse yourself or fill full of scripture cards and give it to a friend who needs a little support or a lift. This also makes a great program for breat cancer awareness.  I have a devotional and the scripture that goes along with this program.

 What a wonderful experience! It is by far the best money spent.  The child care was awesome, the meetings were awesome (Major Mark Tillsley is in my top 5 of favorite Salvation Army speakers) the fellowship wicked awesome!  We are ready for next year.

Just when things are getting good here in HDG, I get an email that Super Suppers is closing in HdG, it was only 5 minutes from the house....now I will have to travel to Bel Air to go to Let's Dish.  Shelley and Linda called this one a couple of weeks ago saying it would probably close.

On Thursday afternoon me and three ladies left for a conference that was taking place in the Sweetest Town on earth! Hershey PA. (man did it smell good there)  After we checked into the hotel we freshened up and then headed towards the center, while on our way it began to storm, we were 8 miles away and when we got to the center the rain had almost stopped and this is what we saw.......................

Then we saw another one! Can you believe it a double rainbow, the colors were so vibrant-the first one was a full one. We saw the beginning and the end of it.  Call us corney but it was like a sign from God that He was anointing this conference and it was going to be awesome! And that it was!!!!

I have never been to a conference like this before in my life but I totally recommend going! We met other Christian women, one was standing in front of us in the consessions line and joined our conversation about the King James Bible-why you ask, cause out of the four of us, the minister forgot her Bible and had to buy a new one.  Which was the amplified version. 

So you have read this far and you are saying " Uh, Tracey .......the name ????? who was it?" Well, I am going to let you read my notes and then I'll tell you at the end.  You may be a fan and you may not....but that is not the important thing, the important thing is the Message and the Word of God! Delerious opened up with worship "Rain on Me" awesome song-I have already bought it for my iPod.

We sat up high one time!!!! The rest of the times we got there early and sat on the floor which is alot closer.  Just us and 12,000 other people. More pictures are at the end of my notes.

First Session:

Fear makes everything seem worse.

Fear can make you do things that are unreasonable.We need to be careful of the decisions we make out of fear.

When fear comes we need to release our faith. Faith keeps us going.

God will give you faith, you need to release your faith for it to do you any good. Release it in prayer-action-thoughts

The victory that overcomes-is faith.  Believe in God mmore than you believe in anything else. God is not getting perfection from us-He knows we aren't perfect.

Stop making excuses- saying "I can't help it" <------Yes you can HELP IT!

We listen more to our feelings than the Word of God. forgiving others is a gift we give ourselves-not forgiving someone is just poisioning ourselves.

We have to take responsiblity for ourselves and our actions.  "I can't help it." <-----the devils best excuse.

Recover in Christ. There are not hopeless people. the devil wants to keep you trapped. "An excuse is just a reason to keep doing it."  Stop making excuses and take responsibility and cross to the other side."

     We are easily decieved as a nation. we were founded on the work of God.

Third Session

fear steals so much from us. It brings tourment in our lives.

Fear is not going away

When you feel fear keep going don't stop. fear comes against everyone-there is no descrimination

You will never be free from fear if you don't stand up to it.

God calls us out of something and into something and the middle is MESSY>

Fourth Session

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is very important

it's not good enough to just read the scriptures you need to act!

Use our gifts God has given you for the kingdo of God. Train up the body. Your neighbor is anyone who gets in your way.

Faith is a covering, it protects is, many times its in the form of thoughts which lead to actions. The more love you show to people the less the evil can get to you. You can't live like the devil all week and expect to be covered in love on Sundays.
